RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate New Business: Prospect through outbound calls, follow-up, referrals, and other agency-provided opportunities to identify and develop new customers.
- Conduct Needs-Based Conversations: Learn to identify customer needs, explain available insurance options, prepare quotes, and recommend appropriate Auto, Fire, Life, and Health solutions.
- Manage Your Sales Pipeline: Maintain consistent prospecting and follow-up activity, track opportunities, and build a pipeline of future business.
- Build Customer Relationships: Deliver a professional customer experience, develop strong relationships, and identify opportunities for referrals, cross-selling, and long-term retention.
- Develop as an Insurance Professional: Participate in ongoing coaching, role-play, product training, and sales development while demonstrating increasing independence, confidence, and product knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sales Mindset: Motivated by goals, comfortable initiating conversations, following up, asking for the business, and working in a performance-driven environment.
- Professionalism: Maintains a polished, professional appearance and demeanor and demonstrates integrity, sound judgment, and appropriate communication with customers and team members.
- Driven & Coachable: Demonstrates initiative, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to receive coaching, apply feedback, and continuously improve.
- Communication & Relationship Building: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with customers and build trust.
- Organized & Accountable: Able to manage multiple priorities, complete follow-up consistently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Licensing: No insurance experience or license required. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain required insurance licensing. Licensing reimbursement is available according to agency guidelines.
